Singapore Flyer Reflection - Draft 1 ♥The Singapore flyer is one of the main tourists’ attractions in Singapore, and it takes about 30 minutes to complete one rotation of the wheel. I was filled with both excitement and anxiety at it was my first time boarding it. However, I also hope that the flyer will not corrupt and stop in the middle of the journey. I also hoped that I could see some of the famous landmarks and the breath-taking view of Singapore. When I was at the ground floor, I looked up to catch a view of the structure of the Singapore flyer and it was really magnificently huge. The surroundings at the entrance were panoramic too. Before I stepped into the capsule, I was so nervous that my heart kept pumping faster and faster. However to my surprise, although we were in the flyer, we could not feel the flyer moving. The scenery view from the top of the flyer was stunning and spectacular. When I saw the famous landmarks from a bird’s eye view, I stared at them in wonderment. Some of the landmarks I saw were the Padang, Esplanade and the Marina Barage. Many of us were busy taking pictures of the awesome landscapes. I felt very joyous and happy as I was able to take a ride in the Singapore flyer. Nonetheless, my expectations were met. Not only I was able to see almost all the landmarks, I had a great time up in the flyer too. If I have a chance to ride the flyer again, I would definitely go for it. One memorable incident that happened in the capsule was the group photo taking. It was my first time taking photos with my science teacher, and we really had a great laugh about the photos we took. However, not all the students were taking pictures, some of the others were busy doing their task sheet, wanting to complete them as soon as possible. Overall, I enjoyed the trip to the Singapore flyer very much and also learnt many things about the famous landmarks. I also believe that the majority of the students liked the flight. On hindsight, the trip was worth-going, and therefore I would recommend to others. I hope that more that the tourism in Singapore would increase with the famous Singapore Flyer.
